July 10th, 2011 (I went back to sleep)

So, we were in the 4th of July parade for band again, but at that moment we weren't playing, and for some reason someone very smart decided to put the Waconia marching band right behind us. So they were playing, and they had the same cadences as us. And so I noticed this, and mentioned it to Cassidy, who was right next to me. It made us both pretty angry, because come on, who just steals cadences?
Anyway, I got over that, and continued marching. It was then that I noticed Dan was still in band, playing the bass drum right ahead of me. I was confused.
So since we were still marching, but not playing, and the parade was apparently almost over, Mr Swanson yelled that we could just walk now, because it was hot, and pointless to march.
We walked to Chan Elementary, where we went inside to change. Apparently the dressing room (for guys and girls) was the music room, but everyone was taking forever to change and it was really crowded and I had to go to work, so I went somewhere else.
Apparently 'somewhere else' was my grandma's dining room, which was in the school, and I went to a nonexistent bathroom in the dining room to change. The bathroom was basically just a closet, with three different-sized toilets. It was kinda nasty, so I changed and got out of there in a hurry. Then I went back to the music room to get my phone, and when I looked at the time it was 8:17 pm, 17 minutes after I was supposed to end work. I was kind of mad, but just said oh well and got over it. I decided to go anyway, to explain to Shah about the parade. Mr Swanson said, "I'm sure you won't be that late," and I just looked at him like, "Uh, k...?"
I went outside, which was my grandma's driveway, to call Shah. Connie, Chad's mom, was there, and Mr Swanson and the rest of his family. They were all just kind of chilling in the garage. So anyway, I called Shah, and he said "What are you talking about? It's 4:30." I looked at the clock (not sure which clock, as I was outside), and saw that he was right, and, slightly embarrassed, told him I'd see him at five. Then he said, "Oh, we don't actually need you today, you don't have to come in," and so I didn't go in. And then I woke up.
